Change Description:

GlobalTop have found an appropriate 2nd souce supplier for patch antenna found on FGPMMOPA4 GPS module and FGPANE GPS external antenna series.

Results:

According to the test results from our evaluation, the second source antenna, CIROCOMM, has all the required electronic characteristics. In addition, this conformity report verified the antenna performance of PA4 series modules currently in production. All in all, CIROCOMM antenna will be a welcomed addition when it comes to having another antenna to choose from during production and manufacturing. Customers can refer to PCN report which can be provided on request and have a better understanding on the overall procedure when it comes to the replacement of production materials.

Change Description:

We have modified the appearances of shielding cover of Gms-u1LP to lessen the effects of external interferences which might negatively impact the performance of GPS module. Also, through this modification, we have accomplished in strengthening the reliability of the entire module, especially the area between the PCBA board and the shielding cover.

Results:

Other than the changes to the physical appearance of shielding, the performance of GPS module remains the same as before.
