Small is big!
The smaller antenna is the big step for Gtop GPS patch on top GPS module.

GlobalTop Technology Inc. is unveiling the latest new member of its PA6 series; introducing PA6H, the low power GPS module in a popular 16 x 16 mm form factor with integrated smaller antenna on top.

Unlike any PA6 series in 16 x 16 x 6 mm size, PA6H has a lower overall profile of just 4.7mm. This makes it easier for PA6H to be more readily incorporated into any circuit board design for small form-factor devices. Although the patch size is thin, its performance stays in the excellent quality of PA6 family. It supports up to 66 channels of satellites searching under -165dBm sensitivity, plus 10Hz maximum update rate for precise GPS signal processing under low receptive conditions. PA6H is a low consumption GPS module (20mA at tracking and 25mA at acquisition).

PA6H uses the latest and most advanced MT3339 chipset, meaning PA6H brings advanced features including AlwaysLocate, which uses minimum power while providing accurate positioning information immediately, without needing to keep the module fully turned on all the time; EASY (Embedded Assisted System); EPO (Extended Prediction Orbit data service) and AIC (Active Interference Cancellation), provide effective narrow-band interference and jamming elimination. The GPS signal can also be recovered from a jammed signal, providing the user with better navigation information and logger functionality (Auto logging data to internal flash, no need to wake up HOST side).

The additional firmware customization services offered by GlobalTop are open to all PA6 series. These include geofencing, binary output mode, distance calculation and many more innovative features which enhance the overall system efficiency and shorten the development cycle.
