The GlobalTop Gms-u6b module utilizes MTK’s MT3339 GPS Chipset. This chipset has the industry’s highest level of sensitivity (-165dBm) as well as instant Time-to-First Fix (TTFF). It also combines many advanced features including AlwaysLocate™, EASY™, EPO™ and logger function.
Gms-u6b with built-in Chip Antenna requires a special ground plane for reception performance improvement. Ground planes on the both sides of the module enhance the antenna’s efficiency for better GPS signal reception. Please contact the Gtop team for design information.
